As expected, Baahubali The Conclusion dominated weekend box office earning ₹102cr, breaking several records along the way as it is doing since day one. 2 new Bollywood titles released this weekend and both bombed at  Box office. Telugu film Radha and Punjabi film  Lahoriye fared quite well at the Box Office with later facing the capacity problems.

Beginning with Baahubali 2, it added ₹102cr to its running tally which now stands at ₹1097 cr, just ₹3cr short of another milestone ₹1100 cr which will be achieved Today. The film has scored a century for the third consecutive weekend. That said, it has already broken almost every single record including Biggest 3rd week ever within just 3rd weekend . It dropped 48% from its 2nd weekend, which​ is slightly better than 46.3% last weekend. Going at this pace film looks like will  settle around ₹1300cr in full run.

Coming up 2nd for 2nd weekend of May was Sarkar 3 starring Amitabh Bachchan which failed to outscore even the 1st Sarkar released back in 2005 which pretty much explain how badly it bombed. Film scored a wimpy ₹8.8cr in its 1st weekend on 1100 locations for meh PTA of ₹80 thousands.

In third place we find, Meri Pyari Bindu with ₹8.65cr weekend on 600 locations. Film started lower than Sarkar 3 on  Friday but will outscore it in full run and that’s only positive for the film. Nevertheless it’s another additions to the Flops this year.

If there was anything impressive this weekend other than the table topper was Lahoriye starring Amrinder Gill which grossed ₹6cr over the weekend on 225 screens at 165 locations for an impressive PTA of ₹3.65 lakh. While Telugu film Radha managed to score ₹8cr on 350 odd locations.

Speaking of Hollywood releases, Alien Covenant debuted with ₹3.6cr over the weekend on 710 screens which is around half of what last Alien film Prometheus opened in August 2012. Warner Bros. King Arthur is one of the biggest disaster in history of world cinema and so was the film’s performance in India.

Next week will see release of 1st major Bollywood release in last 2 months, Half Girlfriend. Things aren’t much pleasant​ for that film too with Baahubali showing no sign of stopping and that film showing no signs of any improvement.
