#Update 2 : Baahubali is unstoppable at Box Office bringing in another ₹64.6cr on Wednesday. This is mere 11% down from Tuesday which is brilliant at level film is performing. 6 days Gross now stands at ₹597cr.
Note : Yesterday on site it was reported that Baahubali crossed ₹200cr Nett in Hindi. That was a technical glitch in database adding Telugu and Tamil collection of North in the Hindi Cume. Hindi version crossed ₹200cr on Wednesday.
#Update 1 : With ₹72.5cr on Tuesday Baahubali 2 now stands at ₹532cr, becoming Biggest Grosser of All Time in India besting Dangal’s ₹511cr. Adding to it Baahubali (Hindi) crossed prestigious ₹200cr Nett in India. Film grossed another $2.25mn on Tuesday in Overseas taking its Overseas Cume up at $26.25mn (₹170cr) and Global gross at ₹702cr.
Records fell everywhere last weekend, North or South, East or West, everywhere. And the “May”hem continues on Monday where film amassed ₹100 cr gross destroying the previous Monday record of Krrish 3’s ₹40.14cr in 2013. This sees the film lifting up its 4 days Cume to ₹457cr (just ₹54cr short of crossing Dangal). This also make the film fastest to ₹400cr mark in just 4 days whereas the previous best Dangal achieved same in 3 times the period.
There was Holiday on Monday which helped the film go this high especially down South but North is completely on some other level with advance sales for next three days being phenomenal. Film looks to cross Sultan’s 1st 7 days Cume by Wednesday in Northern markets which is simply a crazy feat as Sultan enjoyed a 5 days Holiday period in those 7 days while here it’s normal Summer days.
Do remember that no film till date crossed ₹60 cr in single day before Baahubali The Conclusion and film is yet to go lower that level. Way things are one could expect at least Tuesday and Wednesday to stay above this mark which will mean film having Top 6 Single Days in India. Taking the most conservative and optimistic take we put a range of ₹600-640 cr for first week, either way film will be Biggest Grosser globally simply taking Overseas collection till Monday which now stands at $23.75mn (₹155 cr). Just to remind film crossed ₹600cr worldwide by the time you reading this update.
