Final part to Indian epic shattered the weekend record once held by Dangal ₹149 cr after notching new milestones for Opening day, single day, second day, etcetera, etcetera.
Litany includes all time daily record for its, ₹3cr Thursday, ₹132.8 cr Friday, ₹103.8 cr Saturday and ₹117.3 cr Sunday, fastest to ₹100cr, ₹200cr and ₹300cr gross and so on. Rajamouli’s Conclusion to Baahubali tripled The Beginning’s debut of ₹116.5 cr. Being a linguistic affair, Baahubali 2 is released in 4 languages with 3 of them having record opening weekend while Tamil secured a Non Festive & Non Rajini weekend record.

- North India : ₹170.4 cr
- AP Nizam : ₹92.8 cr
- Karnataka : ₹40.9 cr
- Tamil Nadu : ₹37.1 cr
- Kerala : ₹15.8 cr
Film was released on 10 IMAX screens in India where it collected ₹2cr over the weekend which is biggest ever debut for IMAX in India besting Fate of The Furious released few weeks back.
Now having almost three and half billion deep in pocket and positive reports from audience question remains that how far can it go in full run. A section in trade is pitching for ₹1000 cr Lifetime but that need film to almost triple it’s weekend which is too hard if not impossible as weekend itself is on very high level.
Apart from all these film is unofficially most watched film in any country in one weekend edging Fate of The Furious in China. Though no official figures of admission are available for either of film so nothing can be confirmed.
Said that the gone by weekend is a historic weekend for Indian box-office as it achieved various standard which only few countries in world have including a $20mn single day and $50mn weekend.
