Finding ticket might be a handy task today but finding a theatre playing Baahubali The Conclusion won’t be hard. With records falling down everywhere one record gonna fall before a single person sits down in movie theatre as one of the most anticipated movie of all time is set to launch on jaw dropping 4,800 theatres in India (estimated 6,700 screens) including 10 IMAX.
Although a new benchmark in terms of release size is achieved but the title remains in house as the record was previously held by Baahubali The Beginning releasing in 3,470 theatres (estimated 3,900 screens). However in term of screens Baahubali snatches the title from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which opened on 4450 screens.
Record breaking doesn’t stop here only. The Conclusion will have staggering 31,000 plus shows which is 63% more than previous best of 19,000 shows of PRDP. This makes the film first to have more than 20,000 shows in India (how cute) and so on.
Well keep counting as party doesn’t stop still with film absolutely obliterating widest release record overseas. Film debut on 1234 locations (estimated 2360 screens) in more than 56 markets across globe, including around 100 prints of IMAX.
